NHS & Private Wig Prescriptions
Liberty Wigs are a NHS approved supplier for wig supply and we also work with every Private Hospital located within the UK.
Our mission is to work with and support as many clients as we can, and we pride ourselves on providing a good and valuable service to those in need.
NHS Wigs & Prescriptions
You may be unsure if you are entitled to a prescription, click Wigs and fabric supports on the NHS – NHS (www.nhs.uk) to find out if you qualify:
To use your prescription with us it must be made out to ‘Liberty Wigs’. If it isn’t you are able to request to use us, speak to your relevant Health Consultant for advice on how to do this.
If you already are in receipt of a prescription made out to us for a wig from the NHS, we can provide you with a wig at your earliest convenience.
Each trust will give you an amount you can spend in regards to your wig. Once established the amount you can spend:

Private Hospitals And Medical Insurance
If you have Private Medical insurance, you may be entitled to an amount towards your wig. We always recommend calling your insurance provider to clarify, as sometimes it is not clearly displayed on your policy. Each policy will give a certain amount if any.
